Boston College upsets NC in WLAX

Sounds like the BC goalie is also the real deal. Really hoping for a Skane - North matchup in the final.
Congrats to the WLaxers - a fine season despite the disappointing loss to Syracuse. Battled tough when it counted against Duke and Denver, and mounted a run against Syracuse in their last game. Bitter loss, but will make them more hungry next season.
North and BC take the WLAX championship. Impressive run for the eagles this season. Hope the NU ladycats are able to improve their fundamentals (team and individual) on defense - better body position and less stick/cross checking. Led to a lot of yellow cards this tournament and really changed the outlook of the syracuse matchup.
Not sure what the eligibility rules are but seems like we lose some important talent - Gilbert, McKone, Girardi, Meuller, Palermo. Will be interesting to see what the transfer market and new signees bring to the team chemistry and building around Scane. Looking forward to another year of Amonte-Hiller working her magic. Hopefully next year the taste of disappointment takes them over the top.
