We offered yesterday and he committed on the spot.

Love that. He had offers from all 3 service academies so he must be a high character young man!
What is up with Inside NU? They went negative again on a commit. They made it very clear that he "apparently" runs a 4.45. We all know 40 times can be inflated, but their article focused on the fact that he might have run a 4.45. Why not just say he was timed according to HUDL at that and leave it at that. Those guys used to do great work, but have been churning out some real garbage of late.

Yep...they've gotten really bad. Very pessimistic about everything, with rarely a compliment or good thing to say. Don't understand why someone would devote his time writing about a team if nearly every take he has is negative.
I haven't looked at whether inside NU is a student site, but as a 35 year TV veteran and a former college TV sportscaster I can verify that most college kids are morons at that age. Full of piss and vinegar and think that they are much better than really are. Perhaps this is the case here.

About 2/3 of his impressive tape shows him breaking one long run after another. So why question his speed?
Welcome to NU, J!
