In a typical year Illinois sends a few dozen players to D1 schools with a dozen or so of those being top programs.

This year it's a fraction of that. But NU's recruits are at the very top of the state and would be top tier any year.

Rapolas is still considered by some to be the top talent in the state. He didn't play as much this summer so not getting quite the same press.
