Demps, McIntosh Earn Invites to Elite Summer Camps

Northwestern duo will learn from top basketball players in the world

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Rising senior Tre Demps and sophomore-to-be Bryant McIntosh have earned invitations to a pair of elite summer camps featuring some of the top professional and amateur talent in the nation.

McIntosh, who was named to the 2015 Big Ten All-Freshman Team, will participate in the Stephen Curry Select Camp where he will get to learn from the 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player. The Wildcats' guard is one of only four college players invited to the camp which also includes top prep players and will be held June 28-July 1 in Alameda, California.

McIntosh started 31 of 32 games during his first season at Northwestern, averaging 11.4 points and 4.7 assists per game. His 150 assists set a school freshman record and are the third most in a season in school history.

Demps is one of the top 20 college players in the nation who are invited to the inaugural Nike Basketball Academy. The event is being held June 26-29 in Santa Monica, California, and combines Nike's three previous skills academies into one. The top college and high school athletes in the country will receive guidance from the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis in addition to multiple basketball legends.

Demps led Northwestern with an average of 12.5 points per game during the 2014-15 campaign. The guard has earned a reputation for hitting clutch shots throughout his NU career and received honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition last season.

May want to check that tweet on this, Lou, though the Seth Curry camp could be fun as well...
