I have to think it would be of benefit to both Fitz and the university to settle this privately. I do have concerns about the players who were involved in activities that might be considered harassment. Were university or football program rules broken? Will the university have hearings involving codes of conduct on these incidents? Has too much time passed to address these potential violations- some kind of statute of limitations? I think some of the women’s teams have had similar harassment charges made, as well as the men’s baseball team.

The harassment in baseball was by the head coach who was subsequently sacked.

Yes, I’m aware the ex-baseball coach who was hired and relieved of his duties by our current AD harassed players and even other assistant coaches. Amazing hire.
