OT: NCAA Gets It Right (For Once!)

The NCAA has proposed a new rule that would allow a player to declare for the draft but reenter school if his draft prospects don't match his expectations:

This is a great rule because it allows the athlete to test the waters without making a decision he may regret later. I see no downside to this. NCAA votes on the proposal in January. One small step for the student-athlete!

As long as he has to decide whether he goes back to school before actually getting drafted.

That is correct. He must undeclared from the draft to go back to school.

Nope. Once they declare they lose their eligibility even if they don't hire an agent.
