Nice to see, and hope it was the first of many times. He was able to rise for his shot, and his rebounding was huge. It would be nice if this and the Minnesota games were viewed as turning points for him and the program a few years from now.

Law has got a great high delivery point on his jump shot. PSU 's 7-footer came out to contest his little corner jumper late in the game and Law was still able to easily put it over him and into the basket. He really gets up on the glass and has a nose for the ball, helping us to keep the o-rebounds to a minimum, which is crucial when you are playing a zone defense..
There are very few freshmen such as Parker and Okafor who are going to be stars right out of the gate. Law certainly has the physical ability, and he's still learning how to play college ball. He should be a good one. I was especially impressed when I saw him jump right over a PSU guy who had position on him to snag a rebound.
Law has a very nice shot and can shoot from distance.
Adding some muscle will allow him to absorb some bumps...just like Tap this year...and continue with this move versus giving the ball up or putting up a bad shot.
Law had a clean block towards the end of the game yesterday for which he got a foul call. Once he starts playing more consistently and scoring above 10 pts a game the refs will start treating him like an OSU or Wiscy player. Which is to say he won't be going to bench early in the game with foul trouble.
