After reading the fine print, it seems "5 Star" means "Division 1 Prospect". As compared to "4 Star", which is "Division 2 Prospect".

Let's not go all crazy just yet on Mason..........

We have recruited alot of sailors guys. Demos, hunter, etc. None of them have panned out like our last kicker (first team all american).

Hopefully this kid is worth the PWO status.

Sailer's rankings should always be taken with a grain of salt (or a whole lot of grains of salt) -- he's essentially a paid scouting service whose reputation is tied to placing kickers and punters at major college programs. He's extremely incentivized to give kids high ratings to better position themselves to end up at major college programs, which in turn allows Sailer to keep putting on his camps to earn a living. There's usually only a handful of truly "offerable" specialists every year despite the rankings.

Chris is highly respected in the industry, but an additional level of scrutiny is usually warranted.
