    Purdue can't keep up. Question now is what the margin of defeat will be. If it's greater than 17, then everyone can agree that Northwestern played UConn more competitively than any other team in the tourney other than Alabama. 😎

    Nice! Great timing. We were out in the Hill Country last October for the Ring of Fire eclipse. Not as grand as what you experienced today, but it was still pretty cool to see (using eclipse glasses).

    Edey went to the FT line 20 times yesterday, so he's still getting the ref protection. He airballed a FT in the 4th quarter, which was awesome. I agree that he will struggle against Clingan, and I think Purdue loses by 20 (assuming both teams get by their first games).

    UConn's 30-0 run over a 8+ minute stretch last night reflects more than them being a smidge more athletic than Illinois. The game was tied 23-23, and less than nine minutes later, it was 53-23.

    UConn won the national championship game last year by 17 points. They beat NU by 17. Their margin of victory in every other game in this year's tourney has been 25+. Amazing.

    Not sure why Hurley just sat Clingan for 4+ minutes. Perhaps to avoid him picking up his second foul early. A key for Illinois to staying in this game is to get Clingan in foul trouble.
