This season was something I/we’ve dreamed of for a long time. I’ve never had as much fun at home games as I had this year.
Thanks to every single player on the team for representing us with a fierce determination that was amazing. Incredible. Oh, and with class.
Boo and Borg, I’m going...
No, I’m agreeing with you. And it isn’t being disrespectful (see above post). It’s an observation based on a number of games this year that Boo gets less respect than he deserves, especially when a home crowd advantage comes into play.
We outscored them in the second half, so we have that going for us, which is nice.
Seriously, I’m really proud of the way they kept fighting in the second half.
Regarding the OP, I try not to rip on the refs, but it’s been a consistent theme that Boo got the snot beat out of him this year with few calls. Of course, one thing we should keep in mind is that this was a virtual home game for UCONN.
Interesting strategy. I like it. Although Smith wouldn’t get the scholarship “feel-good” in name, it would be a virtual scholarship, with a “real one” down the road.
And yet, if NU hits a few more free throws, or if Langborg is his “normal” self, I think we’d have won.
We’ve been dealt a tough hand, for sure. I still think we can beat MN. We’re going to be there live to watch it happen.
