    I think he has made a mistake. I'm guessing that he's just trying to grab a few years of a major paycheck before he retires. It's unlikely that he can replicate his success at Indiana. He had a great situation at JMU.

    Coach Braun needs a contract and all of the assistant coaches with ties to Fitz need to go. Bajakian should have been fired by Fitz at least twice. I trust Braun to hire good coaches. Anyone who believes that Bajakian should stay might want to pivot from football to pickelball.

    I think NU should plan on keeping him for at least three years. We are going to lose a lot of players in the portal after this season. NU football is going to go through a mini dark age. We might as well have consistency at the top until the program's reputation is restored.

    I missed that announcement. I suppose all of the assistants are likely to be witnesses in the upcoming lawsuit, so it makes sense to keep them close.

    I agree. There are very few options on the table. I seriously doubt a known coach wants to come in as a 1-year temp. If there's any internal debate at Northwestern Athletics right now, it may have to do with whether or not the assistant coaches are held to the same "you should have known"...
