Classic “loser leaves town” battle.

Who you got?

Line is currently UNL +3.

I haven’t followed PSU closely, but I hear rumblings that Franklin has lost the team and the season is turning into a dumpster fire.
I don't know if Franklin is on the hot seat. Unlike Harbaugh at Michigan, Franklin has actually beaten Ohio State and won a Big Ten title. However, Franklin is taking heat from PSU fans online about game management , losing to opponents with inferior talent, and losing top Pennsylvania talent to out-of-state schools.

During the off-season, PSU fans thought that Franklin was one of the best coaches in cfb and that USC would come acalling - which he would turn down.

Now, many think he is clueless.

The thing is, not much has changed.

Franklin is a good recruiter, but is very average in the other things a HC is supposed to do (not the greatest game manager).

He needs to have the right hires at OC and DC.

PSU will lose! Frost is a good coach The previous Nebraska coach was good too! Maybe better than Frost

Was funny watching FOXSPORTS trying to promote this game.....when they got it they must have been licking their chops ....but now neither team ranked ....winless.....the only thing they lead the league in as of now....Franklin most words per minute and Frost gives up the least words per minute...

I will always despise PED U. I hope they never win another game.
Me too. Plus I don’t want the UNL faithful to bounce Frost as I think he’s not a good coach.

This will give him a “marquee win” in their minds.

Nice to know one team will still remain winless. Should be some interesting posts on that schools message board. Who do we root for on Saturday? 🤷‍♂️

So far this season has been enjoyable from an NU perspective.

We're 3-0.

Harbag, Franklin, Fleck, Lovie, and Frosty are a combined 2-12. 😆

This is the beatitude season (Matthew 5: 5).

Indiana, Purdue, and Northwestern are 8-0, while Michigan, Nebraska, and PSU are 1-7.

Never Penn State. Never, ever, ever.

But moral reasons aside, a Nebraska loss further destabilizes a division rival.

Given these records, can we assume we'll be hearing soon (if not already) that the Big Ten is in a "down season?"

BTW, as much as I hate the whining Nebraska fans, this is an easy pick this week as to who to root for - I don't even need to root for the meteor. Penn State going to 0-4? (chef's kiss).

Nebby. They have suffered enough.

PSU and Franklin, on the other hand, cannot suffer enough...

I'm not sure about that. Gotta ask those teams on which Nebraska would routinely run up 60, 70, and even 80+ (Minny) points.

My favorite poor suffering Huskers game was Texas Tech beating Nebraska 70-10 in 2004. A nice taste of their own medicine for decades.

How well I remember that beatdown at the Alamdome, but our defense was not good that year, so I'd like to see the Huskers win. Plus, I know some very nice Nebraska fans.
