We have offered six prospects for 2026 as of now.
#1 TJ Crumble, Cleveland OH, #88 NATL is a 6'7 bruiser PF. He has really good post game, yet I doubt we have a chance at landing him.
Seems like his top schools are Ohio State, Michigan, and he visited Texas A&M when Buzz was there so potentially Maryland. Just don't see how NU can compete with these 3 for him.
#2 Jayden Hodge, Belmar NJ (Monteverde), #48 NATL is a 6'6 SG.
He is the only Top 50 player we have offered, and his best offers are Villanova and Penn State. However, while this seems like a battle we can win on paper, Hodge's brother is currently at Villanova, and it seems like he will follow in his footsteps
#3 Gabriel Sularski, 6'5 SG, Lemont IL, #84 NATL
He was one of our first offers in this cycle. May have offered him as a freshman even. He seemed like he was going in the direction of a one and done five star, but has kind of fallen off. He has offers from every team in the Midwest imaginable---Wisco, PU, IU, ILL, Mizzou, but it seems like he is going to Michigan State. He has taken multiple visits there, yet his recruitment has been very quiet so TBD.
#4 Justin Curry, 6'4 PG, Noblesville IN, unranked
He is only an 83 on 247 which is quite concerning. Not that these sites get things right always, but it is not a good evaluation. That being said he has 3 P4 offers, Northwestern, DePaul, and a Woodson IU offer that I doubt still stands. If a decision comes down to DePaul and us, we should have him in the bag. He would not be my #1 target.
#5 Colin Rice, 6'8 F, Waukee IA, #182 NATL
Colin is probably our #1 target right now that we can realistically land. While we are not the favorites against Nebraska or hometown Iowa, he seems to be enjoying his relationship building with the staff. He reminds me of a mix of Josh Dix and Nick Martinelli, very unpolished version but I see why the staff is interested. Arguably his tape is better than Sularski's. Michigan State and Colorado were at his game yesterday, so that may be two more offers to compete against.
#6 Jasiah Jervis, 6'4 SF, Bronx, NY, #108 NATL
Jasiah is the most athletic player and highest potential player we have offered. We seem to be more in the mix than we should be. He is taking his time making his decision--but he really likes Coach Shane and that is what is keeping us in. However, in the end I doubt we land him. He has offers from St. Johns, Miami, and a bunch of other big brands that will pull him away
Overall, this list tells me we need to offer more kids. I think Colin would be a good add, but we need 2-3 more kids offered who we can realistically get.
I know Coach McIntosh is at UAA this weekend, and I bet Shane or CLow, maybe even CC is at either 3SSB or EYBL this weekend, so hopefully we get some more offers soon.
That's all I have, just want to keep you all updated. I can answer any questions
