NU has moved up to #34 (6th in the Big 10) in the T-Rank system, a statistical regression site like Pomeroy but FREE. The current forecast is for 20-11 and 10-8, which would put NU firmly in the conversation for the Tournament and likely IN (T-Rank has the Cats an 8th seed). It's impressive how close the predicted scores can be to the actual outcome.

The model now predicts a very close win over UD Saturday night.

Cool. This is a new one for me. Thanks.

If you like RottenTomatoes-style composite ratings, the Massey Ratings is a good site. They take 26 different ratings systems (and T-Rank is actually one of them!) and sort of average them together for a Massey Rating. The site also shows you all of the different rankings for comparison, along with median, mean, standard deviation. Fun stuff for math nerds.

Right now, NU has a Massey rating of 29. The highest rating is 21 per The Power Rank. Our lowest rating is 63 per Real Time RPI's Power Rankings. And most rating systems have us in the 30s or so. This feels about right at this point.
