Looks as if Collins is planning on a 9-man rotation with BMac, Trey and Scottie rotating at guard, Tap, Sanjay, Falzon and Vic at forward, and Alex and JVZ sharing center. I don't know who will be called the 3 or the 4, but Falzon and Tap will alternate at one F spot with Vic and Sanjay at the other.

The challenge for Pardon, Ash and Skelley will be to practice well enough to force their way into the rotation.

Think you will see at lot of Law and Falzon and less of Sanjay and Tap.

I know he looked raw- but I've never seen someone with Pardon's body type in an NU uniform in recent times. Don't know if a redshirt is in his future, but hopefully he will be given the opportunity to develop.

He reminds me of a shorter, more fit Kyle Rowley. And I am certain they will be patient with him, having brought in JvZ this year to back-up Olah. Dererk will get spot time particularly in the OOC but expectations will be low for him contributing this season, which is A-OK.

I actually like what I saw from Pardon. His traveling violations appeared to be due to pure nervous exuberance. But he has a big, active body and played with a lot of intensity on both ends of the floor the entire time out there. I haven't seen an NU big that quick on the block.... maybe ever.

Long, long arms. He might be 6'8", but he's going to be able to defend like he's 6'11" once he bulks up a little bit. Also, he made a really nice catch on a rocket pass in transition from (I think) Falzon.

Based solely on what we saw last night, Ash has the furthest to go. But I'm not worried about that. It was his first exhibition game. Falzon, on the other hand, looked silky. He needs to be a bit stronger with the ball; the whole team had a case of the dropsies, especially on some screen exchanges. But there's definitely a lot more talent on this roster than most other ones we've had, and that talent is spread across more positions on the floor than perhaps we've ever had.

If you take away the short, and add the fit, is it really Kyle Rowley at all?

^ No.

Pardon has pretty decent hops and doesn't have hands of stone (just a more natural BB player).

As for the Law/Falzon and Lumpkin/Tap rotation - see a roughly 60/30 split in playing time (the other 10% to go to others) w/ the pairing being flexible (sometimes Lumpkin w/ Falzon and Law w/ Tap).
