Disappointed in the final score but the effort was great today. Made PSU sweat that's for sure and that was an elite defense we faced. This team has potential and there's a lot of season left. Hope Bryant is ok, that guy is a gamer and I had comeback vibes til he got crushed on that 3rd and goal at the 1 play action (which should never have happened obviously).

Several big mistakes today but this team played really hard. Until the late collapse I was still hoping for a pick 6 to put us within one score
Agreed, the final score isn't really indicative of how this game went.
Penn State is the best team we play this year.
Beat Howard and then the Nebraska game will really tell us what we have with this team.
At the very least, seeing a lot of positive signs compared to last year competitively.

Pretty much how thought things would play out - Cats being able to keep it close in the 1st half with PSU pulling away in the 2nd half, but not being an embarrassing blowout.
Braun has less talent at his disposal on D, but the D looks so much better.
Issue is talent level/depth and not scheme and preparation (so much for all the excuses about players needing a year to learn/adapt to a new system).
