EVANSTON-A deep Wildcats' defensive line dominated on Saturday, looking nothing like the group that was ravaged by injuries last season.

Philip Straus' story: Depth charge ($)

Is this the list of guys that played? Pretty confident on everyone but Oxley.

1. Lancaster
2. Robbins
3. Oxley
4. Lowery
5. Chapman
6. Gibson
7. Odenigo
8. Thompson
9. Washington

Still a bit uneasy with Chapman...he has the heart of a lion but still appears too undersized for my liking. What are the chances Kuhar will be ready for Duke? The unit will only be stronger upon his return.

No one knows for sure, but if practiced with pads on before the SU game he may well get some snaps in Durham.

Yep, Oxley played according to NUsports' participation tab. http://www.nusports.com/boxscore.aspx?id=2689&path=football
It was hard to miss him. I was saying who the hell is #99? Because he looked tall and stood out. He must be doing something right to make this rotation. At any rate, it seemed to me that Washington, Thompson, Oxley, are a bit behind Gibson [looked healthy and awesome] Chapman, Robbins, Kuhar, Lancaster, Lowry, Ifeadi. The young guns will only get better though but are good enough to snag a spot on a VERY important rotation. It was very important that our DL wasn't gassed in the 4th. Gotta love the depth, it will serve us well.

The young players are a bit behind the veterans? That's the kind of hard-hitting analysis that will keep people coming back.
