There is some hope in regards to coaching changes: The AD.

If understand correctly, Gragg forced Chris Collins to make changes to his staff. I think Collins basically replaced his Offensive Coordinator. I'm not a basketball guy so I don't know what the coaching titles are in hoops.

If Gragg stepped in and forced changes to the basketball staff, it would make sense that he'll do the same with football.

Yes, he gets a lot of eye-rolls here but I am willing to give him a chance. One chance.

As some have speculated here, Fitz' contractual situation may be different. Gragg may be limited in suggesting/demanding changes in football's coaching staff.

Then that is a contract that needs to be heavily revised.

Scott Frost even renegotiated his buyout with Nebraska when he didn’t have to. It could have cost them $20M, and they did it early for $15M - but if they’d waited two more weeks it would have only been $7.5M.

I wonder if the delay in any announcement is due to Fitz and Gragg also reconfiguring Fitz’s deal a la Frost so that we can amicably part ways after one or two more seasons if there’s no appreciable improvement - with a much lower buyout.

Given Shaw resigned at Stanford, was he owed any termination payments as part of his contract? I doubt he received anywhere near the full buyout amount, but I find it hard to believe he walked away with nothing.

The thing about contracts is that both parties need to agree.
That saId, I'd very much like to see Dr Gragg do to Fitz's contract what Lou Brown did to Roger Dorn's.

We only have one data point, CCC looking like he was paddled in the principal's office while Dr. Gragg read him the riot act, in public.
