So many ND threads on these boards lately, so hate to add another one, but when looking at the players picked in the 1st round of the NFL draft, I noticed that two ND offensive linemen went in the top 10. Nelson was the big name, and he went at 6, which is really incredible for an interior lineman. They also had a tackle I'm less familiar with taken at 9.
I remember ND having arguably the best o-line in the country last year, and two top ten picks proves that out. The question I have for those more in the know is how much do they reload on the offensive line? I don't care how much depth you have, losing two top 10 NFL draft picks off your starting line signals to me that there is going to be a downgrade on the line this year. I wouldn't give a shit about ND's roster typically, but with them on the schedule, I suddenly give a (maybe even two) shit(s).
Any info would be appreciated.
