I agree that it reads as if KSU is the clear frontrunner. But for academic reputation, it is a major step down from NU or Syracuse.

I would also worry about Coach Snyder retiring again. The last time, the quality of football there plummeted immediately.

Not really closer, right? It's 5 hours from st Louis to Chicago, and 4 from St Louis to KC. Manhattan is at least another 2 hours.
