After an 0-12 season, Akron is in the midst of a 17 game losing streak. They're halfway to our very own all-time consecutive loss record of 34. However, they do have both UMass and Youngstown State on the schedule for next season, so reasons for optimism are limited. (The only win UMass had this year was vs Akron . . . we need them to stop playing each other!)

After Akron, UTEP and Old Dominion are next up with 11 game losing streaks.

Worth noting that Akron’s last win was *not* Northwestern.

(As you may recall, circa 2006 NU kept our record by losing to Duke.)
