At long last, Richie Hagarty is a Wildcat

DE Richie Hagarty wanted to be a Wildcat out of high school. Instead, he's coming in as a grad transfer.

He's a DE for sure. The guy weighs 255 pounds -- after three years in college strength and conditioning programs, too. He's not going to play inside at that size. While there's no question DT is the bigger need, NU can use the depth at DE. Remember, he has two more years.

We also desperately need pass rushers. Basically any and all DL talent we can find. So, Hagarty is an awesome land.

I hope we land a few more transfers of the caliber we already have. That may be the difference between a 3-9 season and a potential bowl game… which we also desperately need.
