It is hard for me to believe that Michigan would lose like that to Rutgers when they knew they needed a win.

Purdue will struggle in the NCAAs if the refs call it differently and their young guards can’t handle the press.
And to be fair, NU could be in that same boat, albeit without a 7’4 center at their disposal.

Gotta hand it to Rutgers for taking some serious hits - losing a starter and the NU loss - but getting off the mat and competing as they had all year. Pickiell can coach a ton.

I assume different refs for our game tonight, but they could all be on the same page about foul-calling.
Win tonight, and a six is in play. Lose, and a seven seed almost seems locked at this point. Michigan State was definitely one of the fellow sevens that NU needs to be ahead of.
