After the Rutgers game, I left ESPN U on while I puttered around the house. The Saint Mary's @ Portland University game was on.

At the end of the first half, Portland scored nine points and was 19% from the floor, 20% from the free throw line, and 0% from the 3-pt arc.

Brutal.

Kinda reminiscent of that home game against Illinois a few years back when we were down 30-6 at the half.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank the skies above that I'm not a Portland State basketball fan. Never hurts to have a reminder though, so thank you.

Probably the worst game in one of the worst seasons in NU history. To be fair, that was 17 years ago, a bit longer than "a few years back."
