Northwestern's 2016 DE signee will be having surgery on Dec. 15 to repair both a torn labrum in his right shoulder and a 1/6 tear of his patellar tendon on his left knee. What surprised me is that these injuries are both OLD. He dislocated his shoulder in Week 5 and played the rest of the year with it, and he hurt his knee his freshman year and has been playing on it for four years!
Carnifax graduates from Warren (Ohio) Howland in December and will be enrolling at NU in January. Because he's signed, he will have surgery at Northwestern Memorial and NU is paying for the surgery. He will be out for spring ball next year.
