We only play Minnesota once this year, at home, and to have beaten them and had that advantage come March would've been huge. Just ridiculous reliance on the 3 in this game. The post game was working with Pardon; why abandon it and start jacking up 3's when we're in the lead? It was as though we were behind by 7, not them. Sure, there were plenty of open 3's we missed, but attacking the basket would've been smarter to set up better options outside. Did anyone notice how wide open some of Minnesota's 3's were? They set all those up with good ball rotation.
Sunday is an even bigger game now with this outcome. Better balance is a necessity. Hope we get better inside play as a catalyst for outside play in that one.
