Would bet that they draw more fannies in the seats then NU has drawn for any one game this season.

Maryland has nearly 40,000 students, the #2 ranked basketball team in the country, an arena that is over twice the size of Welsh Ryan. Bowie is 25 miles away from College Park.

Yeah, I bet they draw more fans tonight : /

Yeah, no kidding. The stadium size is the most important part, honestly -- if Maryland only gets 46% capacity tonight, there will still be more fans in their building than it is possible for Welsh-Ryan Arena to hold.

Noticed that a bad Illinois team had close to 12,000 for their game vs. Io-a. NU needs a new arena, ASAP that seats around 15,000 and then promote the hell out of it. "Build it and they will come", plus Collins will stay.

We're not going to build an arena that big! I think DePaul's new place is only supposed to seat about 10,000 which would be about right for us. Once football has moved out of there I am assuming we will see a plan develop.

Actually, arena appears to be quite empty. Bryce Jordan Center-esque....
