He'll be fine! Did some good things tonight. His shot to me, just looks like his guide hand doesn't release early enough. I don't consistently see that nice backspin on his release which tells me it's coming cleanly off his shooting hand fingers. Small adjustments.
Also, if you watch the best jump shooters at any level, there's a point in the shot where the shooter's feet are coming forward and somewhat leading the shooter's body (think Reggie Miller - he was pretty good at kicking those feet into the defender and drawing fouls). Well anyway, I don't quite see that in BMac's form. Everyone shoots differently but the best shooters I've seen use their legs a little differently in terms of how their bodies are balanced through the shooting motion. That and the release. That's all I've got to add to the conversation for those talking about BMac's shot. His shot is still quite good and will drop a lot but there are things I notice.
