Bowl Predictions

It is almost as stupid to look at week 4 bowl predictions as it is to obsess over rankings, but here are two ESPN predictions:

McMurphy: Northwestern vs. Florida in the Outback
Schlabach: Miami vs. Northwestern in the Pinstripe

I'd like either of those!!

Fun to check out but I will not start really looking at those things until we have our sixth win behind us. At that point, I will start prognosticating with the best of them. Right now, it is Chaos Theory - too many variables to make such a detailed prediction.

I completely agree. Still, it is fun to see perennial national champions FLA and Miami (FLA) paired with NU in a bowl..........

If we win our next two games, then we will be seeing some very interesting bowl pairings.

What will be interesting though is to see the number of bowls (and which ones) that send reps to our Minnesota home game this week. Look for the blazers.

Still can't believe how many B1G teams will be booked for Dec. 26 bowl games (Dallas, New York, San Francisco) - great destination cities but terrible timing. Would obviously love to see us go anywhere after a two year drought but for my own selfish reasons I'd love Holiday in San Diego or Music City in Nasvhille, both on Dec. 30 (if the Rose Bowl turns out to be out of reach).

I have to leave to be back at work on the 29th, so my selfish reasons would prefer one of the earlier games. But, if it means NU having a special season, then I will just watch the game on television.

Michigan has us then msu in vonsecutive weeks. If we beat minny then that 2:30 abc game with michigan will be a goodie with perhaps two top 15 teams.

let us get to 6 wins first....the next 4 games will determine this season. We can win them all or the opposite can happen.
