Peyton Manning sat out practice today, so Osweiler, Dysert and Trevor got more snaps than normal. I saw this tidbit on the Broncos website:

... Backup QB Trevor Siemian had some outstanding throws, including a bullet in the right flat to TE Virgil Green to beat Ray in coverage during the seven-on-seven period.

Not much I know, but always good to get a positive mention on the official site. My bet is that he's a shoe-in for the Practice Squad with a good shot of the 3rd string position on the active roster, if the Broncos carry three QB's

It's still early, but the word is that Siemian looked the best out of the 3 back-ups today and the coaches have been impressed by his arm and accuracy thus far.

Doubt the Broncos will carry more than 2 QBs, so if Siemian beats out Dysert, would likely be placed on the practice squad.

There are rumblings that Osweiler may not be the answer to being the heir-apparent to Manning, but of course, still very early (otoh, while having to learn a new system, Osweiler has been in the league for 3 yrs).

As for Dysert, doesn't have the arm to make the more difficult throws w/ enough velocity and has a tendency to tuck and run when his 1st look is covered.

Whether Siemian sticks (practice squad) will not be b/c of his physical ability (notwithstanding him not being 100% healthy yet) but his ability to adapt to playing in a pro-style O and improvement in reading defenses (has been making the typical rookie QB mistakes).
