According to the Montana message board. Montana would be a good fit for him — they are very guard-oriented and lose their two best guards to graduation after next season. Coach Travis DeCuire was an all Big Sky guard himself and is a good teacher. We’ll see where it goes from here.

Best of luck to Isiah. Hope he lights it up for Montana. Wonder if he has to sit out a year if he goes there?

I truly want Isiah to find a good landing spot and have success. I’m sure last year was tough for him, but I thought he handled it very well publicly.

Montana seems like a good fit.

Idaho - you touted the Big Sky from the beginning. I hope chooses Montana, dominates the Big Sky, and becomes the next Harold “The Show” Arceneaux. (I think Weber has had an upset since then, but without the catchy nickname.)

One of those teams will be getting a playmaker and NU will have no one coming back who can create off the dribble. Maybe the grad transfer, Taylor or AJ Turner can create but no one knows that. Of the players who played last season, no is coming back that can dribble and penetrate and create a shot for themselves or others. I am sure that Brown will excel at either Montana and Boise State. Too bad CC and staff could not how to figure out how to develop and use one of the most offensively talented players on the team and felt compelled to play McIntosh 35 plus minutes a game even though he was having an off year and got banged up and struggled.

Must have been watching a different Mr. Brown. A playmaker he was not . Wonder if going to be playing football as these schools. Although maybe that "best offensive talent" will shine as these basketball powerhouses.

Sounds kinda pouty... Guess we have another player to watch next year.

Montana media reporting it’s between Montana and Boise State.
Thanks for the update - will be cheering for Isiah wherever he lands next year! Hoping he can find a landing spot where he is free to attack and shoot more, and be a dynamic scorer. Think this outcome will be better for both parties.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat as far as I'm concerned. As long as they didn't do something while here to dishonor themselves or the school, which Isiah certainly did not, he was a consummate team player as far as I could tell.

Random tangentially related question - has anyone kept tabs on Kale Abrahamson?

Had an unremarkable career. More of the typical BC recruit than the gem. Kyle seems to have had a breakout of sorts at Drake after sitting a year. He then transferred as a grad to Duquesne and broke his hand in the first game. After missing a few games, it looks like he never regained his game from the year before.

Come on dude, let it go. Don't go Mystic on us about Isiah. Best wishes to him, but ready to move on.

I agree. There were flashes and even instances where Brown basically saved us last year during our magical run (Rutgers comes to mind). He had some skills unique on this team even if he did have some deficiencies to his game and I would have liked to have seen CCC find a way to make it work. Good luck to Isiah, I wish him well and expect to see him tear it up at his next stop.
