He must not be able to. That would be the only possible explanation for him not getting at least some time as a slot guy. He's too talented and too dynamic to be just a change of pace guy. Keep him on the field with JJ, lining both up in multiple spots.
There isn't a dominant WR on this roster, and I'm not sure that any of the six or right that see the field even have that potential.
Why not use the guy who made the single biggest play of the season (that'd be the return touchdown at Duke) see a few more snaps? And, for what it's worth, if Vault takes to the position, Anderson's pedigree and brief on-field audition would indicate that he's capable of filling the change of pace RB role.
(And, if Vault can't catch, the next question is, of course, Can Anderson catch?)
