That is all
Amazing game by BMac (Happy 21st Birthday!). Some clutch moments by Tre. And Skelly was the difference maker off the bench late with non-stop energy and hustle plays. Nice win. Go 'Cats!
I won't sit here and say that's a resume win, but Columbia is a nice little team with lots of seniors. Not saying they will, but they're the type of team that sneaks into the tourney and makes a little run because of their experience.
Terrible start, but the Cats just battled and battled. Great to win games like that early in the season.
According to Eanet and Meyer, they are a potential Big Dance team.I don't follow basketball very much. Is Columbia a good team?
Don't know about that, but the best team we've played, by far.According to Eanet and Meyer, they are a potential Big Dance team.
We were clearly the more talented team, and that came through at the end, but they are a mature well coached team that will be a handful for most power 5 schools (outside of the big boys)
Clearly the more talented team? I disagree. Rosenberg, Petrasek and Mullins would probably start for NU. I'd say starters were pretty comparable, with NU having an edge on depth.
Mullins is starting over BMac or Demps? C'mon.
Swoopy hair Macauley Culkin wouldn't last 2 games in the B1G, which coincidentally is longer than he'd last in a serious YMCA pick up game. Petrasek would have a really nice warm seat right next to Pardon. Rosenberg might come off the bench and take Tap/Lindsey minutes.Demps. Tre comes off the bench like Vinny the Microwave Johnson.

You've been watching the 'Cats for a long time. You as well as anyone know that many bad players have put up a lot of points on us over the years. Kid had one of the best games of his career, kudos to him. I'd have a lot more respect for him as a player if he didn't do the constant flop and head jerk motion trying to a draw a foul, though.Pretty funny! You may be right about Culkin, but he lasted long enough against NU to hang 22 points and 6 assists on them.....
