CEO to oversee college sports rules enforcement...

This is all interesting because it seems the football power brokers all agree the NCAA's brand is FUBAR and they want to basically start over when it comes to enforcement, including the stomping out of state legislatures hoping they can give their own State U's competitive advantages in the system.

On one hand I am skeptical; on the other hand all schools are perhaps starting to see what NFL owners see - agreeing to and playing by the same set of rules benefits us all in the long-run, and let's actually stipulate punishments that truly deter the behavior.

To clarify, this isn't the commission bullsh*t that was born out of Trump and Saban having coffee together one afternoon.
College football is fairly significant. It's a big operation. A lot of revenue. That's all we talk about anymore, is revenue. A lot at stake here, and we still don't know what the rules are. It shows you just how screwed up things are, quite frankly."

College football! There you have it.

As expected, reforming an NCAA style structure but under the full control of the power conferences.
