And I actually called up friends of mind at halftime telling them to tune in now they are calling me and giving me crap.

What a bunch of losers.

Spare me the talk about last year. Won a few key games and snuck in. Big deal.

Choke choke choke.

Looks like we’ve got the biggest loser right here!

We made the tournament for the first time ever and did not “sneak in.” Talk smack about the team’s performance this season all you want, but they did something special last season and it was a big deal.

Euro, by "losers" you were referring to your friends giving you crap, right?

(Trying to help you here. Even Homer nods.)

To clarify. when I said what a bunch of losers I was referring to the people I had called who were calling me back to do the Simpsons "Ha Ha".

I was not talking about our players.

That having been said, it is undeniable that 11 points in the second half is a choke job and sorry, at some point, enough is enough about last year no matter how great it was.

But I was not talking about them above. Just about six phone calls "ha ha". Freaking losers. (Not the players, heck I coulldn;t do what they do out there).

But dudes, 11 points!! Come on!

Wow. I'd hate to see the reaction if this game meant something for NU tourney or conference chances.

It's been a lost season for over a month. You guys are brutal.

You think this might not have affected our chances for the NIT? I do.

It did.

While the 'Cats at large NCAA hopes died in Piscataway on Tuesday night, the NIT wasn't completely out of the question. That's now out the window too after today's result.

It sounds to me like he's angry. And technically they did lose and for sure choked.

He also admitted to getting excited when we lose. His posts in this thread are not angry ones. They're ones of clear celebration and mocking.

The season was over when Ash went down with an injury three games ago. Hope he gets better. We need another blue Chip point guard ASAP besides Lathon and Ash! We need depth. Just saying. Wish the team good luck the rest of the way. Scottie,Vic,and Pardon and Gaines are the only BT caliber players we got right now. Skelly and Falzon are serviceable backups for most BT teams.

Excited when we lose? Celebration? What on earth are you talking about? I think you have me confused with someone else.

Fair enough. Though I meant by excited not excited as in happy, but excited as in riled up (not in a good way). My fault for not being more clear. Fair enough.

As a fan since the Rich Falk era, I take no pleasure in any losses. And 24 hours later I am still pissed off.

Before I forgot my old screen name and the linked email, as an Iowa Hawkeye fan, I was a constant member on the boards. I am pretty positive this guy is a fan of NW.

Larry Nance Jr. finished second in the NBA Slam Dunk Championship last night. If Pete Nance is just as athletic or more than athletic than his older brother than we will be in good shape next season particularly against MSU who will lose Jaren Jackson and Miles Bridges who will leave MSU after their payments from the boosters (allegedly) and the FBI comes a calling!

Or when he FBI (speculatively) comes knocking on the MSU coaches’ door. The reports are hall of fame coaches should be worried. Does that mean Bill Self, Roy Williams or maybe Tommy I? Reports are that 8 teams out of the top 16 are under investigation. We know about Arizona and Auburn (shocking how they go from nowhere near the tourney to 23-4!) but who are the other 6 teams? Could it be the fine and ethically proper MSU or maybe OSU. Stay tuned!

Pete Nance is obviously a very nice prospect with face-up skills and could apparently still be growing. You can see plenty of highlights of him on YouTube. He's clearly not, though, the type of athlete his dad and brother were and are. Putting unrealistic expectations on players does no one any favors.
