The decision makers at Northwestern are probably too snooty, but you can do worse than Ed Orgeron. At the very least he’d upgrade the recruiting.
It's not gonna happen but what if it did? Can he even spell Northwestern? Did he think it was Northwestern State?
NU would need to hire a Cajun-to-Chicago interpreter for his pressers.
Training table would have jambalaya and boudin balls. Beignets for dessert.

It would certainly add flavor to the NU @Tulane game we have scheduled for 2025.
If NU hired Orgeron, I would have to become interested in the program again, if only briefly. The comedic potential would be astounding.
It would also be good because it would be a big 🖕to everyone who says "who would coach there?!?"
It’s definitely not happening, but the laugh factor would be phenomenal if it did. Come on NU, do it and be legends.
It would be an entertaining year. The press conferences would be worth watching again.
He has coached in LA (Los Angeles) so maybe that same Cajun to English interpreter is available.
