I realize it's highlight film, but he looks awfully good in this video to my untrained eye. Arm seems solid, is quite mobile, can extend the play with his feet, goes through his progressions, can throw on the run across the field. Seems like he was productive in HS. Was it his size that prevented him from getting scholarships?
Delbarton scored a lot last year but COVID season and all that. Same county I live in. I don't follow NJ football that close cause my kid is still too young, but beating Don Bosco is a big win. Finished anywhere from #2-4 in a lot of state rankings. Morris County just doesn't get the same respect as Bergen County when it comes to NJ football. I don't know if I'd class him as a pro style QB either and I doubt he's 6'1", but sure looks like he makes plays and can sling it. He had been a Brown commit. Can never have enough athletes and wish him the best. Nice article I found googling...
