When Kurt Flood won his suit against MLB Baseball I didn't understand it and thought it would ruin the game. ( it has for me) That begat free agency in NBA basketball, NFL and NHL. Has it made it better? For the players a definite yes. Overall, I think it's debatable.
Soon some judge is going to rule that player's rights should include immediate eligibility when desiring to transfer schools regardless of their age or number of years played. Huge change is around the corner and I don't think I like it.
