Here is a link to the complete 60pg report: REPORT

As you might guess, CR and crew aren't thrilled w/ state of things. Here is a summary AP article (note auto video). SUMMARY

They suggest letting players go in the draft, but be able to return to their same school if not drafted. Also want stricter penalties for coaches with egregious violations - including lifetime bans. AAU could be in trouble based on recs from the commission.

Interesting to see where this goes.

How long did this commission spend to get to these recommendations? Seven months?

This message board could have developed more substantial changes in three days. And that's with MysticCat and Wrassler as part of the conversation. What an incredible waste of time.

The commission wants one-and-dones eliminated. It wants tighter penalties for major violations. Players should be able to return back to school if they're not drafted. And my absolute favorite: Agents should be able to "engage" high school players.

Yea, brilliant!! Get the scumbags involved earlier with players more vulnerable to BS.

And those are the major recommendations!!

Your cash cow is about to get attacked and that's your opening bid?!?!?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Why should I think for a moment that Condi would turn the screws on failing fraud of any policy?

The NCAA and its schools are bordering on deserving whatever they get. They have tried to sweep their problems under the rug for too long. I don't know how the schools let this continue. At least address a few of the problems that you can see coming from miles away.

One last thing: Any discussion about "reforms" without the NBA and the players union is an absolute waste of time.
