YupQuiero is probably the one that will certainly be out more than this game. I think he broke his forearm.

What makes you think it was his forearm? Seemed like he got hit in the shoulder, and they were stabilizing it on the walk off the field by holding his arm.
Someone mentioned seeing I.O. return after his original injury...can anyone confirm?
people feel ok about odenigbo?
his foot was dragging, the last time I saw a foot drag like that...I don't even want to go there
From this game
- Odenigbo
- Godwin
- Mogus
- Dickerson
Who else?
I think he had concussion symptoms.
I am pretty sure I saw Dickerson play later in the game. I know I saw #9 make a play, and Dickerson is the only 9 on the roster as far as I know.

His last play out there he had no contact. Then there was a time out, and then he was out when play resumed.

Godwin is a true difference-maker and an All B1G level player. Losing both him and his (very good) back-up Kyle would be catastrophic. I hope whatever it is, Godwin heals up quickly. His physical style of play is critical to the upcoming Minnesota and Iowa games...
I though I saw Garrett Dickerson back for a couple of plays at least, but he was missing later in the game in situations where he clearly would have been playing if he could. Losing Garret would be a huge blow to our TE (2 super back) personell group.
Our OL took a big blow. I heard that Frazier was dressed and participated in pregame warm ups, so hopefully that means he's nearing his return.
I feel great about the win, but this game's injury situation could prove extremely costly to the rest of the season (ala the Wisconsin 2013 game).
Godwin was standing in full pads, helmet in hand, for the entire first half. He went into the locker room as the defense was taking the field for the last time in the half. I'm assuming they were waiting around to do concussion symptom tests, etc. and then just decided to pull the plug.Could he have been hurt on the very first play of the game? His head got clipped by the QB's knee on the tackle. That is the only contact I could see that could have hurt him on any of the plays before he went out on the second series.....
Dickerson was in a walking boot the second half.

Garrett D was on crutches on sideline at end of game. Godwin was in street clothes, but actively cheering. Ifaedi was back in at the end
My best guess is that Dickerson and Quiero are out for next week but that Godwin, Mogus, Ifeadi and the rest are back. We may also get Frazier and Dipietro back for more OL depth next week. If that is the case, I'd be pretty pleased.

Based on what I've seen from some other guys, depending on how close Quiero's injury is to his wrist (vs elbow), he may yet be able cast up and to get back for the latter part of the regular season. I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV.
To me the question might be if they can practice. I have a little concussion experience. The brain can often take one concussion w.o. serious consequence, it's the second concussion before complete recovery that is extremely dangerous. Since you can't predict a guy getting accidentally hit in the head even by a bullet pass, you have to wait as long as two to three weeks in some cases before entering any risky situations.Coming back from concussions can be a tricky process. Hopefully Godwin and Mogus are back next week, but it's not a certainty of course. A generation or two ago, there was no doubt that a guy who got knocked in the head in a game would be back the following week (if not that game). Nowadays, the approach to concussions is much different, and that's a good thing. I hope for their sakes that those guys are OK and are back in practice this week.
I don't see how someone else could support his broken wrist better than he could. His fracture seemed to be right above the wrist and from what I saw on TV it seemed to be a full, clean break. Not sure if that makes it easier to come back from but I am fairly certain that's the injury he sustained because it was so obvious to see on TV.
