Not an overwhelming line. I think we were a bigger dog @ Nebraska. I'm really looking forward to a fun game tomorrow night! Hopefully the team plays loose and with energy and we see a close game. Pardon vs. Stone should be fun. I think we could all use a win after today.

Very interesting. I have a lot of respect for that MD team but can't wait to see how we stack up.

Well, NU should have won @MD last season and the Cats are better this year. Like their chances in W-R.

We were a bigger dog vs. Nebby;believe it was 3 or 3.5. But I am MUCH more fearful of Maryland than I was of Nebby,. Hope I'm wrong...

The Terps struggled to beat Penn State at College Park. Trust the Cats can get the win that got away last year at this time. Agreed, though, that Maryland is longer and more athletic than Nebby.

As a sidelight, the NUsports website says that "limited tickets" remain for tomorrow's game. If true, I wonder if this means it will be a typical Welsh-Ryan near sellout with a sizable contingent of opposing fans. Wondering if Maryland travels that well, or if we get a good showing from Cat fans and returning students.

While Maryland may not have a huge alumni base in Chicago, i bet on a Holiday weekend Saturday - they will have a decent showing. With NU off to ahot start - the game matters.. will be a "Signature WIN" for the Cats. Pardon nuetrailizes Stone for the W.

I looked at the seating chart yesterday and there are seats in the upper levels all around the arena, both North and South sides. About the same amount of available tix as there currently are for Wisconsin and Illinois. My guess is that NU has about 5,000 season ticket holders and sell another 1,000 to walk-up with the remainder going to visitors on a game by game basis. However, a good chunk (20%?) of the season ticket holders for any given game don't go and sell their tickets to visitors on the secondary market, for another 1,000 visiting fans. So for a decent Big 10 game you probably have 5,000 NU fans and 3,000 visitors, but the visitors are far more vocal and make more noise than their % of the attendance would suggest!

And one problem is that I imagine a fair number of people that would normally go will still be down in Tampa or on the way back or something.

So while more than normal local walkups probably come for us due to our 13-1 record, I suspect there will be a higher % of no shows out of our season ticket base.

If people want to see good BB team, this is one of the better visitors. MD may not travel well but some could decide to come just to see a good game

I would go but tickets are $46 a piece! Stub hub is even worse. I think I'll just go to the Ohio State game Wednesday since I can get $10 tickets for that one.

Just about spot on, IMO.
