I thought it might be interesting to lay out what we are seeing out there. My feed cut out for a second here and there, but this should be fairly accurate. There were three times Ohio had 1st and 15 (not marked).

Personnel Notes
Rod Heard (#24) served as the nickel in the "sub" package(s) unless otherwise noted.
Heard replaced Gallagher (#32) unless otherwise noted.

Byrce Gallagher (#32) started at the MIKE, but Khalid Jones (#44) saw the field as well.

2ND HALF

Personnel Notes:

When Khalid Jones (#44) was playing base, Peter McIntyre (#40) replaced him in the "sub" package.

AJ Hampton (#11) came out for one play on drive #9 (medical). He returned on the next drive

Drive 12 featured several back ups, but Hampton (#11) played outside for a three plays as did Heard (#24) in the slot. On the tip pick, Jaheem Joseph (#25) replaced Heard (#24) in the slot.

Drive 13 featured all substitutes

Drive #8: NU 17 OU 0 - 3rd qtr 13:14-10:50 (5 plays)

4-3: 4 plays (#44 MKE)
4-2-5: 1 play (3rd & 12)

Drive #9: NU 17 OU 0 - 3rd qtr 7:59-4:52 (7 plays)

4-3: 4 plays (#44 MKE)
4-2-5: 3 plays (1st, 2nd & 10, 3rd & 8)

Drive #10: NU 20 OU 0 - 4th qtr 14:45-12:42 (6 plays)

4-3: 4 plays (#32 MKE)
4-2-5: 2 plays (1st, 2nd & 2 - tip int)

Drive #11: NU 20 OU 0 - 4th qtr 11:35-9:41 (5 plays)

4-3: 2 or 3 plays? (#0 Azema replaces #40 McIntrye on 1 play; possible Dime sub package?)
4-2-5: 2 plays (1st, 2nd & 5)

Drive #12: NU 28 OU 0 - 4th qtr 5:54-4:15 (5 plays)

4-3: 1 play
4-2-5: 3 plays

Drive #12: NU 35 OU 0 - 4th qtr 0:32-0:00 (2 plays)

4-3: 2 plays (final play QB TD run)

TOTALS:

4-3:
28 or 29?
4-2-5: 35
4-1-6: 1?

Ohio felt they could attack the NU defense through the air via (see the amount of 4-2-5) the short passing game (quite a few mesh and all curl concepts) and outside of the opening drive, the 'Cats seemed to get themselves oriented quickly. Very encouraging that NU was able to play vanilla most of the day (only saw a few blitzes with Bergin) and still get pressure with 4 (without having to do much stunting/gaming). Outside of one or two missed tackles and a poor run fit when the Bobcats went tempo, this was a very nice effort.

Kudos to O'Neil and the defensive staff. Very encouraging performance.

You realize that ESPN provides a drive chart, yes?
Do you have any idea how your writing reads? Nice cloaked dismissal of ColumbusCatFan1’s work. Here is how you could have worded it without sounding like your usual, overbearing, pompous self.

Do you have any idea how hilarious it is that you seldom respond to me with anything except scolding?

I do not care.
