I have never heard so many superlatives about any south suburban football player from people who know his football down here. Everyone sings his praises. Multiple people have told me he's the best HS de they have ever seen down here, and these guys have been watching for decades. Multiple people told me they never missed going to LW East's games because they wanted to see him destroy the double teams with RB help. These are Mt Carmel and Joliet Catholic alums and everyone else who cares about south suburban football who were telling me this.
With all due respect to Hungry Jack and all the other guys who know what a football player looks like, this guy will be a solid rotation guy if he chooses not to redshirt from day 1 and will be better than SD Miller and Gaz as a 4-3 de by his second year with the Cats.
As an aside, Farrell is reporting on what he saw from Devin at SUBSTANTIALLY less than 100%
