If Scottie were playing (and 100%) I'd actually buy into the BIG title talk, but as things currently stand, that goal is a little beyond NU's reach. I can't see them running the table.
My guess is that Lindsey should be good to go by tournament(s) time. That's when we'll need him most, anyway.
I think there has to be two teams beating WIS. They only have two BIG losses and we have 4
Right. Actually Wiscy has a relatively tough remaining schedule, which includes vs Mary, and AT Michy and MSU. So, their losing 2 isn't far fetched.
But both Mary and Purdue have only 3 losses. Of course, if the cats run the table both would reach at least 4 losses, and the cats would have the tie breaker at least on Mary. All three rivals could easily lose the required number of games. But for the cats to win vs Mary, PU and Michy, as well as AT Indy and Illy, is a lot easier said than done. That is the real problem.
Somewhat more likely is for the cats to get hot, hopefully with Lindsey back, and win the B1G-T. Not EZ at all, but a bit more likely.
