I read his comments on a regular basis. I used to think he was quite knowledgeable , but in the past couple of years it seems like he has made a large number of boneheaded comments. I really don't take him seriously anymore.

There's a reason why they didn't release BCS rankings until several weeks into the season and that the Playoff rankings aren't until week nine. Any rankings this early, including in conference, are fairly meaningless.

I thought any rankings that put us at 3 or 4 are extremely premature. If we play the same defense as we did Saturday, sure, but that remains to be seen.

Well, there was an amazing, frankly unbelievable, bit of "news" on Yahoo about a Russian man who will have a head transplant in 2017. So maybe there is hope for Deinhardt--at least in Putin's world.
