NU is going to finish about 50th in the Directors’ Cup despite two teams winning a national title. That is a pretty bad statement for the rest of the athletic department. I think only about a third of our teams made the postseason and therefore earned points in the Directors’ Cup.
Hopefully AD Jackson can effectively navigate the new landscape of college athletics to improve the performance of the entire department. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect NU to consistently finish in the top 30 of the Directors’ Cup.
