Thats right folks! Wrassler says we will jump 7 spots at least in next ten days. The real match ups start next week with conference play! Lots of key matchups in BT, SEC, Pac 12, and Big Twelve! Minnesota will come to Evanston and have no real answers for our Lock Down Defense! Say it ain't so!

Lots of grueling matchups next Saturday! This week has just a few,but next week,at least six or seven ranked teams will lose.
What the heck?
Assuming that we beat both Ball State and Minny...
There are two pairs of teams ranked 1-16 that are playing each other in the next two weeks so that there are two guaranteed losses although they may not result in someone falling past #17. By my guess, there are eight other teams in the top 16 that are playing solid opponents in the next two weeks. So it would take half of those teams to lose (although I am guessing that almost all will be favored) for us to get a sniff of the Top 10. Unlikely. So we will have to jump teams that did not lose in order to make the Top 10.
For that to happen, our offense will have to come alive and put a bunch of points on a good Minny defense after a blow-out win against Ball State. If we do take care of business against Ball State and have the break-out offensive game against Minny, we will deserve Top 10.
I would say that would have us top 15 for sure but to get to top 10, I would think that we would have to get past MICH and likely IA as well. If we were to be able to do that then definitely top 10 but till then only somewhere in the top 15. But getting there and staying there are two different things. I want to be there the end of the year and not just being a flash in the pan that we would be with top 10 after Minny,

So, Syracuse over LSU, Purdue over MSU (in East Lansing), and Wake Forest over Florida State? Got it.
Yes but many to the potential losers are already behind us. Fore example Utah losing does not help nor does Stanford, GaTech, , USC ore even AZ (at least not enough to get us to top 10) If we beat Ball State, MINN, MICH and IA, we will be there. But just getting past BSU and MINN probably does not..
