Big win for the Huskers. The gap between the top and the bottom of the conference seems to have narrowed significantly.Nebraska up on Indiana too with less than a minute left
Did anyone see how Iowa's freshman/forward/phenom Tyler Cook did against Purdue's Swanigan? Cook broke a finger in his right hand like Pardon did but returned after missing 7 games. Cook was averaging 15pts/10rebounds a game before the injury. I am curious if his broken finger was similar to Pardon's. Hopefully DPardon can come back as strong as Cook- or even better.
More like top has dropped and bottom has moved up. This is a weaker conference than usual. Nobody scares me when a few years ago you had to upset OSU, MSU, Tubby had Minny playing well at times, Wisky, Hoosiers, Boilers, Beilein and Fran are good coaches. Now? Tell me any team we couldn't beat. It's a function of us getting better and the top teams rebuilding. But no complaints!Big win for the Huskers. Nah..... its more like the distance between them became like skinnier or something. Completely different than what you said.Uh, yeah, that's what a narrowed gap is. We agree - teams at the bottom are better and the "elite" teams aren't quite as elite. We'll still need to "upset" a team or two but absolutely nobody should be surprised when this team does it.
