Looks like EIU, Tulane, and NC Central all share one roster.
They've thrown the ball 35 times a game while playing mediocre competition. Will be interesting to see how that holds up against a decent defense.
They look about as great as Stanford looked on Saturday. Its gonna b a tough game and im not surprised we are dogs, but they havent met Mr Walker yet.
Just one little problem. Tulane has no defense.
Hard to tell anything since they played two FCS teams.
Tulane is FBS. Wait, is my humor meter broken again??
At least I'm aware it might be.
Tulane is FBS.
Of course, they are....not only that, they play in the "Big East" (now called AAC) which not that long ago was supposedly a major conference (not that everyone agreed)....others include Cinci, Memphis, Navy and Houston... Rutgers and Louisville are recent defections. Tulane hasn't done that well, since they moved up from C-USA...perhaps are still adjusting to the stronger competition.
And why would Duke schedule TWO FCS teams, in the same season, anyhow?...would that even be allowed?
I think you can schedule more than one FCS team, but only count the victory from one game towards bowl eligibility.............which is why no one schedules more than one.
I think you're right about the rule, but BC opened this year against two FCS schools in Maine and Howard. Makes no sense to me unless maybe they had another opponent pull out at the last minute and could only get an FCS team to fill that spot on their schedule.
Edit: That actually is pretty much what happened - link
Those were pretty crappy Ds they played against.Looks like EIU, Tulane, and NC Central all share one roster.
