I am not sure if any of you got this email. Comments below.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Ryan Field in just a few weeks! With our 2019 Home Opener quickly approaching, we want to provide you with a few East and West Lot parking updates.

1.We’ve established an East and West Lot Tailgating ‘Etiquette’

The East and West Lots of Ryan Field are reserved for Northwestern Football’s most faithful fans, including long-time season ticket holders, alumni, former student-athletes, donors and others who faithfully support the ‘Cats. Therefore, these lots should be ‘Purple Friendly’.

Flags (including car flags), inflatables and tents with visiting school marks, logos and colors are prohibited in the East and West Lots.

In the event you give your East or West Lot pass to a friend please be sure they understand this requirement. If you’re unable to make a game, we encourage you to consider donating your pass back to us so we can share it with others eager to support the ‘Cats!

2.There is a New Parking Process in the East and West Lots

As we shared with you earlier this year, we’re making the following East and West Lot parking adjustment:

§Upon entering the lots, fans will be directed by staff to the next available spot.

·Fans who wish to tailgate alongside friends must arrive together at the lot entrance. Spaces adjacent to yours cannot be held for later-arriving vehicles. Groups that arrive together will be parked together.

Go Cats. Great idea. Poor execution. How can you decide to let your fanbase know about this less then 3 weeks before the first home game. Unfortunately I am not local to the area but I qualify for west lot parking. When I am not in for a game I sometimes give them to friends who root for other big ten teams. Look shit happens, but I bleed Purple as people can attest from all the bowl games etc that I have attended. So this is just another great idea from the athletic ticket office but a shit show on execution.
